Temporary senior care at Baja Adult Care
What is respite care, and who is it for?
Respite care is a temporary stay where we care for your loved one around the clock so a family caregiver can rest, travel or handle other responsibilities. It also works well for recovery after a hospital stay, or as a trial stay before deciding on longer-term care.
How long can my loved one stay?
Stays are built around your timeline, from a weekend to several weeks or longer. Tell us your dates and we will confirm availability.
Where is Baja Adult Care located?
We are at Calle Dinamarca #9130, Col. Francisco I. Madero (Cacho), 22040 Tijuana, B.C., México, minutes from the San Ysidro and Otay Mesa border crossings. When you schedule a tour, we send you directions.
Is care available 24 hours a day?
Yes. Caregivers and licensed nursing staff are on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights and weekends.
Do your staff speak English?
Yes. Our team is bilingual, and we keep families updated in English or Spanish, whichever you prefer.
What meals are included?
Three chef-prepared meals a day, plus snacks and steady hydration. Menus are adapted to medical diets and special needs.
How much does it cost?
Our rates are a fraction of comparable care in California, where costs often exceed $8,000 per month. Pricing depends on the length of stay and level of care, so call us for a personalized quote.
Do you offer daytime-only care?
Yes. Our Adult Day Program offers activities, meals and professional supervision for seniors who go home in the evening.
Can I tour before booking?
Absolutely. We welcome in-person tours and video tours so you can see the home and meet the team.
How do I book a stay?

Do you offer care for Alzheimer's or dementia?
Yes. Our memory care service offers calm routines, constant supervision and activities designed for people living with Alzheimer's, dementia and other conditions of advanced age.
Can you care for my parent in their own home?
Yes. We send caregivers and nursing staff to homes in Tijuana and the surrounding area, by the shift or with 24-hour coverage. Ask us about your area.
What is the shortest stay or shift you offer?
We offer stays from a few hours to several months, and nursing shifts of several hours a day. Call us to confirm availability and rates.
Can you run errands or take my parent to appointments if I live in the US?
Yes. Our team can pick up prescriptions, shop, handle paperwork and escort your loved one to medical appointments in a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, with receipts for every expense.
